Planted feet and wandering minds...

I have missed traveling. Not your average two or three day city junkets, or sun-drenched beach gallivanting, but real traveling. The kind that reminds you of how little you've seen, heard, or know, eliciting little shocks from each your senses; travels that reveal the impossible expanse of experience, tempting you to abandon whatever is at hand and traverse the world like a modern nomad. It has been a long time since I've had the time or opportunity to travel in such a way. To say I miss it would be the grossest of understatements. It was the city of Paris that reminded me not to grow so complacent in my comfortable nook on the West Coast of Canada. Since then my mind has remained with the sparkling lights of St. Germain while my body has reluctantly returned home.
